CASINO.Diabase, medium grained.Fractures at 50* to core.Cruotatlona of calcite and chlo rite with a somewhat muddy greenmaterial, likely epidote o Core (^ellghtly magaetio. Magnet picksup a-ttll pieces, .1* massivemagnetite at 138', some lost throughgrinding. Specimen taken.121.0 .2* pegmatite veinlet.198. 0-205 oO fractured 30 0 . Chloritic.202.0-205.0 altered. Contact zone.Chilled, finer grained, some alteration,with epidote, chloritic and calcitethreads o A few speaks of calcitenoted, Contact at 50 0 .Oranite gneiss, coarse grained.Fractures or gneissosity lying at 300 0Frequent brick red sections. Likelypegmatite with sections towards end of hole lookinglike syenite. Some fracturing, filled withlight greenish matter. Likely epidote inhairlike threads. Also some hornblende andbiotite, in seams and lumps o2 l?. 5-219 cO quartz vein with threads ofepidote, contacts frozen o218.0 pegmatite - coarse grained* Lyingat 500 . Coarse threads of biotite.At 230' at 20 0 with epidote and biotitethreads 0257 oO at 400 .242,0-245oO gneissic lying at 10* withpegmatite veinlet parallel to core 0245oO-259.0 Gneissic, threads of epidoteand chlorite, with brick red sec t i ons 6265.5-270.0 brick red sections, alterationwith somewhat brecciated appearance - oouldbe syenite. Some fractured, some epidote andcalcite in threads.
