What is a Tornado? A tornado is a violent rotating column of

air extending from a thunderstorm to the ground.

Conditions that can cause a tornado are-Warm, humid weather-Windy Conditions-Thunderstorms

How long does a Tornado last? Tornadoes usually last just a few minutes,

but some short and small tornadoes will only last a couple of seconds.

The longest tornado in known in history was the Tri-State Tornado, lasting 3 hrs. and 29 minutes.

When do Tornadoes happen? Tornadoes manly happen in the spring or

summer, but can happen anytime of year. It occurs more often in warmer and

humid weather.

What kind damage does a tornado do?

With a tornado, it really depends on how powerful it was.

Some small tornadoes will cost a couple thousand, and others can cost millions of dollars.
