2) Can you build your own Zoo?

Try using different materials – construction, soft toys, junk modelling, things you can find in your garden!

12) Imagine your perfect day at the Zoo. Write a couple of sentences to describe it.

Which animals would you want to see? Who would go with you? Would you take a picnic?

9) Think of an animal that lives in the zoo. Can you describe it to someone in your house? See if they can guess which animal you’re thinking of.

6) Can you put the different animals in order of their heights? Start with the shortest..

3) Can you be a zoo keeper for the day?

11) Can you paint a picture of your favourite animal in their natural habitat?

Can you research and find three facts about it?

8) Using the alphabet, can you think of a different animal for each letter?

5) Watch the video ‘down in the jungle’. Can you act along to it?

7) Can you model your favourite zoo animal out of playdough or construction?

4) Can you make a hand-print elephant?
