New Attributes for Employee Details in Rules

• Two new attributes in Employment Details of the rule‘s property resolver describing the type of an employment distinguishing between Home-and Host employment (in case of GA) and primary-and secondary employment in case of concurrent employment (CE).

Why is it important? • Processes controlled by rules often run differently (or not at all) dependent on the type of the

employee‘s employment. The new attributes Host v. Home (in GA) and Primary v. Secondary for (for CE) no allow to distinguish between those types of employments. (E.g. Eligibility rules in Compensation Planning can now exclude the Home Employment).

Save Draft for New Hire

• Data in New Hire can be saved as draft any time to be picked-up later. The drafts can be found in the pending hire transaction as a separate category.

Why is it important?

• Due to the high number of screens and fields in the New Hire wizard users often complained a loss of data in case they needed to interrupt the data entry deliberately or inadvertently. Now their work can be saved any time to be continued later.

• Masking Date of Birth (year of birth) in the duplicate check (in new hire).

Why is it important?

• Social Security Number (SSN) the Year of Birth must not be revealed in the pop-up.

Out of Turn Access: Additional supported use cases

Out of Turn Access allows roles to access a copy of the form via Team Overview for their own rating before the previous step has been completed. Managers can start early! (note the form will still need to proceed through all route map steps, so accessing out of turn merely helps you get a head start

Out of Turn Access can now be used in the following scenarios without losing draft data:• Collaborative (C) Route Map steps• Manager and Matrix Manager changes made via: Manage Users, Employee Import, and the

Old & New Document Transfer tool• Routing a form using the Admin > Route Form tool• Sending a form backwards using the Send Back button on the Form• When using the Calibration feature where all forms are moved directly to the Calibration

session, skipping in between steps

Why is it important?

• Enhanced usability for customers who are opting to use the Out of Turn Access functionality with other features and tools

Fixed Issues

• Print and PDF of the Performance Form was sometimes causing information on the right side of the page to be cut off in the output. There was also an issue where the Goal names spanning two lines had the second line cut in half horizontal. Formatting issues have been resolved.

• When consecutively deleting competencies on a PM Form, not all deletes were processed and sometimes the competencies were not deleted. Consecutively deleted competencies are deleted.

Minor Features

• The existing framework that is used to launch a Performance Form based on an EC job change has been replaced with an Intelligent Services event. Open CR if you want to enable Intelligent Services.
