ON YOUR TURN...

A member of your team turns over the top card fromthe Salubria stack – this will tell you what to do next. There are two possibilities…

When the Salubria card turned over is a ‘Strategy’Card (i.e. ‘Strategy Card’ written on top of the card)– simply follow the instructions on the card.

When the Salubria card turned over has one of the4 symbols on it (Apple, Book, Cross, or Runner)…A member of the opposing team then draws the topcard from the category indicated by the symbol andreads aloud the question and the choice of answers.Teams may confer before giving an answer. (Note: The time allowed to answer questions shouldbe agreed – we suggest 30 seconds – a stopwatch orthe timer on a mobile phone could be used).

When your team answers the questionCORRECTLY… you win that question card, butbefore your team may receive the card, the opponentmust read aloud the Info Point at the bottom of thecard. Place the card you’ve won face down in frontof you visible to your opponents! Return the Salubriacard to the bottom of the Salubria stack. Play thenmoves clockwise to the next team.

Welcome to Salubria™ - The HealthGame, the card-based question andanswer game that tests your competitivenature and knowledge of four categories:Nutrition, Fitness, Healthy Living, andGeneral Knowledge.

We strongly suggest that one member of thegroup reads the instructions aloud - and to theend! Then have a practice run to become familiarwith the rules.

OBJECT OF THE GAME

To collect cards from each of the fourcategories by correctly answering questions, and to make good use of strategy options thatarise. (See ‘To Win The Game’ below).Playing in teams is our favourite way to playSalubria™ - The Health Game.

GET READY

1. Divide the cards into five stacks: the fourcategories and the ‘Salubria’ stack.

2. Shuffle each stack and place it face downin the centre of the table.

3. Allocate players to teams (or play asindividuals) – a maximum of four teams isadvised - minimum two players per team.Instructions are the same whether playingas individuals or playing in teams.

4. To decide who goes first - each teamdraws a Nutrition card and the team withthe highest question number (see topright-hand corner of card for cardnumber) goes first. Return these nutritioncards to the bottom of the nutrition stack.Play moves in a clockwise direction.
