Here is What I Will Cover In This Document

Improving your sales skills can be fun and easy once

you know a few basic language patterns. It's really

all about the delivery of your message, how you

frame your concepts, and essentially how well you

can connect with your prospect; all of which I will

cover here. So, pay attention to this message, and

as you do you'll realize something interesting about

sales, something that most people will never teach

you because they themselves don't know these

secrets.

Remember the Language Patterns

First, when you deliver your message you must

keep in mind what image patterns you are sending

of to your prospects. People like to think in pictures,

and if you can paint the 'right' kind of picture into

your prospects minds then you will create a sort of

captivation where people understand exactly why

your products/services are good for them.

The picture on my right does a great job at

describing this because, after all, people really do

think in pictures, they love metaphors and the more

abstract you become the more room you leave for

your prospect to come to their own conclusions.

Paint the Perfect Picture

Second, framing your concepts is nothing more

than just painting the picture, but I know you

wanted more details about this so I will discuss it

further here. You want to be very careful in the

way you communicate, so for example, if you are

promoting a travel package you want to be sure

to not compare it to anything negative like, "Now

our premium travel package isn't like those

boring old waiting lines, and experiencing

horrible customer service where the flight attendant insults you."

NO! What you want to do is something like, "Imagine that in a few seconds you can travel

from below zero degrees to all of a sudden being in the warm beaches of Miami all for less

than the cost of groceries on a weekend." Something along those lines for sure, just give

them a picture of something more attractive.

Understand Your Target Audience

Lastly, making that (special) connection with your prospect is all very essential and you do

this by understanding who they are, what they do, and

what thought process occurs in their minds. If you know

your prospect better than your products you have a huge

advantage over most marketers and sales people and

understanding your target market will help you win in this

industry.

These are all essential skills that you may or may not be

aware of, but again they were not taught to me by going

to traditional sales seminars or courses on how to be

more compelling and hypnotic in my language. I know

that these strategies alone will be useful for you the next time you sit down to do a

presentation or do some marketing so take them and run with it!
