School-Wide Policies
Quality works standards are very important at Liza Jackson Preparatory School. All teachers follow the same guidelines set by the board of directors for their grade level expectations. Each grade level will give their individual expectation and you may reference them in your child’s planner on pg. 25. We expect the submitted work to be of the best quality. Most deductions are 2 points. After 10 points are deducted, students will be given the assignment back to correct for quality work. Work is due back the same day, so it is not late. This policy is NOT left to the teacher's discretion.
Quality Work Standards
Attendance Policy Class starts promptly at 8:00 AM and students may enter classrooms at 7:30 AM
A parent note is sufficient up to 9 absences. You will be notified formally after the 5th absence
If student has more than 5 unexcused absences in a month, he or she will be referred to principal and Response to Intervention Team to develop potential remedies
After absences or tardy you will receive an automated call.
Numerous tardies can impede a student’s education and may be referred to the principal and Response to Intervention Team to develop a plan of potential remedies
Attendance is imperative and part of the enrollment agreement signed when entering Liza Jackson
