Fashion in 60s

After the 2nd World War fashion had a military style, but in 60th the idea of fashion totally changed. People began to wear mini-skirts with pointed shoes on high heels and nylon stockings. Moreover in 60s style, which was symbolizing innocence became very popular. It included giant eyes with long and pointed eyelashes, pale face and pink lipstick.The fashion icon of 60s was Twiggy.

Fashion in 70s and 80s

At the same time in 60s and 70s glaring psychodelic (colourful) style with long hippie tunics came into fashion. In 70s – 80s was very popular punk style (with leather, buttons and zippers) and got style (black clothes, gloomy prints). However it was business style too. For example: Princess Diana. Madonna is a good example of 80s fashion.

Fasion in 2000s

2000s didn't bring anything to the fashion, unless emo style. Every style that was before repeats now. But there are some changes in peoples lifestyle. As a result, fashion icons are Nicki Minaj and Robert Downey Jr.
