We were greeted warmly, got backpacks, munchies, and a key or two

Dinner was a fight for survival with 325 4-H arrivals

Always expect the unexpected from the wonderful Oregon crew

Have you ever seen a beaver drinking tea?

There were 25 WSLN virgins to dance for you and me

They flapped their arms and their tails before Martha’s stories set sail

What a great first night we had at OSU

We learned that Alaska has no roads

Then we had to draw a house and list all our goals

Thanks to Lakeshore for the dinner at the ed center

We enjoyed the scenery, walks, local vino and microbrews

Mama Linda and Louise showed teaching nature was a breeze

All were brought to tears by “Information Please”

We found the breakfast panel intriguing

Visted Beaver Beginnings, Little Village, and Bates Hall CDC

Then it was off to R&R, as happy as can be

Shopping, seashore, aquarium hiking, oh what a dream

Our concerns were answered by NAEYC

60 women and a dozen rolls of toilet paper

Led to an ever changing TP statuary

Then there were the spoons that went on late into the night

At least this year there wasn’t too many boo boos

The surprises were lots of fun to see
