Corolla has evolved into an agile and sporty drive that promises a dynamic driving experience. Genuine performance and admirable fuel efficiency8 are delivered with equal ease from the 1.8L 2ZR-FE engine featuring Dual Variable Valve Timing with intelligence (VVT-i)technology that’s under the bonnet of every Corolla. This highly advanced engine uses continual variations to the intake valve timing to improve drivability, performance and fuel efficiency, while also reducing emissions by continually varying the exhaust valve timing.

You can drive with confidence knowing every Corolla is equipped with a range of advanced safety features and comes with a 5-star ANCAP safety rating. To start with, you’ll have the reassurance of seven SRS airbags to protect the driver and passengers.
The Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) uses electronic controls to help prevent wheel lock-up and skidding. Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) helps ensure
stability should you experience any oversteer or understeer when cornering. And Traction Control (TRC) automatically controls engine output or applies the brakes to any wheel that’s skidding on slippery surfaces or where there’s variable grip. On Hatch models, Hill-start Assist Control (HAC)9 helps to prevent unwanted rolling when taking off on an incline and the emergency brake signal alerts trailing vehicles if you’re forced to make a sudden stop.
