Saying the Azaan holds great benefits and reward as mentioned in the Ahadith.

1) The Prophet of Allah has said, "I went to paradise and saw domes of pearl and its dirt is of musk." He said, "Oh Gabrial, who is this for?" He replied, "This if for your ummah's Muazzin (one who says the Azaan) and Imams." [Rawahu Abu Ya'la Fee Musnad]2) The one who says Azaan for Sawaab is like that martyred who is drenched in blood and when he will die insects will not come on in his body. [Rawahut Tabrani]3) If people knew how much reward there was in Azaan then swords would be used amongst them [to say it]. (Rawahu Ahmad)4) The duaa between Azaan and Iqamah is not rejected. [Abu Daood & Tirmizi]

13) When azaan is being said one should listen very attentively, answering the azaan. At that time, one is not allowed to talk, to say salaam, or to answer to a salaam. Even if some one is reading the Holy Quran they too are ordered to stop and answer the azaan.In the Ahadith the following benefits have been mentioned In exchange of every Kalima, Allah writes 100,000 goodnesses [in your record of deeds], upgrades you by 1,000 grades and removes 1,000 of your sins. [Ibn-e-Asakar]14) In Tabrani it is stated for exchange of every kalima one will be upgraded by one million grades.

O Allah , Lord of this perfect call and established prayer. Grant Muhammad the intercession and favor, and raise him to the honored station You have promised him, [verily You do not neglect promises].

HistoryAfter the sanctions that were exercised and the persecution that the sahaba had gone through by Quraish, he went to Taif because he was looking for people who could embrace the vision of Islam because it was difficult in Mecca. Because of the amount of pain he went through, Allah (swt) wanted to alleviate his pain and suffering and hardship that he had endured in Taif. So instead of humans embracing Islam, the Jinn started embracing Islam. The jinn heard about the Prophet and they went looking for him. Before he was sent, the Jinn used to hear the news about humans (so and so will have a son, so and so will get sick, so and so will marry, etc) from the angels and they used to relate this news to witchcrafters. So they would go to sorcers and soothsayers and charltains and fortune-tellers and tell them this news. So when the Prophet came with his message, the Jinn could no longer hear this news from the heavens. But they knew the news of the coming of the Prophet

In a hadith narrated by Abdullah ibn Masoud, “Abdullah was with the Prophet and he was standing a little far from him and he saw different creations gathering around the Prophet and they were concealing him. He went to see what was happening with the Prophet and the Prophet gave him a signal to stay back. These were the Jinn that came in the form of humans to ask the Prophet about embracing Islam.”

Ins: Ins (humans) is the opposite of Jinn 2anasa Shay2an means he saw it In surah Qasas, Musa tells his family, Inni

aanastu Naara – meaning I have seen or perceived a fire, which means Ins is from something you can see and something you can feel comfortable with

Where as Jinn is something that is : The word Jinn comes from the root word Jana which means to conceal or hide something. It could also mean that which is covered or hidden.

Surah Najm Ayah 32 “Wa 2ith antom 2ajjinnaton fi bo6ooni 2ommahatikom” As you are babies in the wombs of your mother where you are hidden

Surah Anaam Ayah 76 “Fa lamma janna 3alayhi al laylu” when the night covered him which is another evidence that the word jinn is something covered

Janna al rajol, or majnoon, his mind is hidden or gone

Facts about Jinn

Jinn were created before the Ins – human beings. Allah says: We created man from clay, mud molded into stages. And the Jinn race we have created

before from fire of a scorching wind (Surah Al 7ijr, 26-27) Jinn are from every religion. Just like Humans. Some are believers, Christians, Jews, etc. So there are

good Jinn and some of the could be sitting with us today.

Jinn can dwell in human bodies.

The existence of Jinn is proven by the Quran, sunnah, and Ijmaa’ or consensus of the scholars and muslim ummah. Ibn Taymiyah also says “similarly the dwelling of Jinn in humans is proven”.

Hadith: A woman came to the Prophet with her son child who was possessed by a Jinn. The prophet went close to his ear and said “Come out enemy of Allah! I am the Prophet of Allah.” So before something can come out, it needs to enter. This proves dwelling in human bodies.

People who are possessed or who had been hit by black magic. He would give them his shoe and the Jinn would know this is the shoe of Imam Ahmad and they would run away.

Jinn are more afraid of us than we are of them. They are just like Human beings. They have their own lives they get married and produce children. They eat and drink just like us. They like the color black. They like houses that have pictures of people or sculptures

Dwellings of Jinn:

1. Ruins2. Filthy places3. Toilets- inhabited by the devils, Hadith: enter with left foot and exit with right; du’aa of entering toilets

seek refuge from Allah from the male and female Jinn4. Garbage Dumps5. Deserted Places- why? Because Jinn are afraid of us. They don’t want to be with us or live with us.6. Oceans7. Deserts

The Pious Muslim Jinn like to dwell in the houses of Muslim human beings and in the Masaajid. In al-7aram, Mecca, Madinah, they have their own sheikhs and their own mufti’s. Very similar to that of man.

We can never see Jinn in their regular form. We can only see them if they take the form of something else like (but not limited to): Myth vs Reality

Humans – Hadith in Bukhari narrated by AbuHurairah when he was guarding the bank of the Muslims. The jinn came to steal from him once in the form of a human, and AbuHurairah saw him. He caught him and the Jinn said oh let me be I have a family and children and I’m old. So AbuHurairah went to the Prophet and told him the story. The prophet told him he will come back. Third time, piece of advice from the Jinn, say ayat al kursi before you go to sleep. No shaitan can harm you. The Prophet said, “he is a liar but here he spoke the truth”

Sheikh AbdelSalam barii, Jinn spoke in the tongue of the man that was possessed. The Jinn says “if you do not leave me alone I will harm you”. The sheikh had firm belief in Allah and said “You cannot harm or threaten me.” You have to have the firm belief in Allah that He is the One that can harm, can benefit, can give life, gives death, Allah swt! He says, “you cannot harm me. I challenge you”.

The Jinn says “I know where you live. I know your home.” The sheikh said, “Fine but come out of this man.” He says, “Ok tonight I am coming to harm you.” The sheikh says, “mar7aba, welcome.”

The next morning the Sheikh was reading ruqya on the same man and the Jinn spoke and told him, “I came to your house last night and tried to harm you, but I couldn’t.” He even gave him proof of how his house looked and the details of it. He then said, “ You read ayat al-Kursi before you slept and Allah sent an angel down to protect and guard you. I could not near or harm you.” And sleeping with wudu.

Jinn may lead people astray by appearing in the form of sheikhs or waliyy’s or saints.

Waste of Jinn- they eat, so where does their waste go? Al Bukhari: Narrated by Ibn Masud The Prophet says, “A person who misses the Prayer of Fajr, the shaitan has urinated in his ear.” But Allaho 2a3lam what the nature of the urine is, it could be from smoke.

The dress of Jinn- The Prophet said in Bukhari narrated by Abu Hurairah. “Do not walk with only one shoe. Also do not sit half in the sun and half in the shade. Immitating him. This is how the shaitan likes to be. Do not sleep on your stomach because this is how the shaitan sleeps.”

Khazrab: whispers to you during Salah The one that causes divorces and causes rifts between a husband and a wife- he is the most beloved to

the head/master shaitan The one who triggers fights in markets- the most beloved sites are the masjids, the most hated sites in th

site of Allah (swt) are the markets The one who beautifies lies to people- white lie; can only lie in 3 conditions 1) war (to mislead enemy)

2) to compliment your wife, 3) to reunite between 2 people that do not talk to one another The one who whispers at times of calamities for women to slap their faces and rip off their clothes

The one who makes people fall into adultery

The Jinn spread and come out during sunset. That is why there is a hadith that if your kids are out at the time of sunset then you should bring them in at that time.

Black Magic is a contract between a witch-crafter and a Jinni The punishment for a magician in this life is death

How to test for witchcraft:

Take your right palm and read Surah Ibrahim verses 42-52, then Surah Mu’minoon verses 97-118, then Surah Alfalaq and Surah Annaas. Then place your palm on your forehead. If you see complete darkness, or you feel dizziness, or see a cross or other similar signs this could mean that there is some kind of magic or witchcraft being applied on you.

Some effects/kinds of Witch crafting that someone might have put magic on you:

Separating between husband and wife, whereby the husband becomes impotent Extreme love for someone to a point of blind obedience

Sudden paralysis of one or more of the organs- no doctors know what the reason could beo Story: There is a witchcrafter known in a village and anyone who wants to get married, they

have to go pay him money. He threatens people that no one will be married otherwise because he will curse them. In this village there was a pious young iman that used to speak against the sorcerer. The witchcrafter told him you cannot get married and when and if you do, you will be impotent. The imam went to a sheikh and the sheikh told him to challenge the witch-crafter infront of the people in the village. The imam did that. Then went back to the sheikh and told him what should I do. The sheikh gave him the sunnah of the prophet from A-Z with all the du’aa and he woke up in the morning and had a great night with his wife. He put his trust in Allah.

Rejecting marriage for no reason- there’s a sister that when everytime a prospect knocks on her door she refuses for no reason. A man faints or just runs away as soon as he gets to the door.

Infertility – (check with professional help before ruling off as witchcraft)

Signs of a Witch crafter, liar:

He might ask you about your parents name He might ask for someone’s garments: shirt, shoes, anything with their smell He might ask for some special animal: bring me an orphan mouse, or a blind monkey, a black rooster

and the witchcrafter himself knows where to get it from and he charges you extra He might ask for you to make a sacrifice in a filthy place: like a goat or a lamb and throw the goat into a

dump yard, or bring a sacrifice and throw it into the toilet He might write some unreadable talismans and claim that it is Quran

o He will write Al-fatiha upside down and quran upside down- dimya6y the language of the jinno Ibn Masud, Ibn Abbas, and other scholars and companions are under the view that any amulets

with Quran on them should not be worn. The Quran might be written in blood.o For the Jinn to serve the witchcrafter, the witchcrafter must commit some shirk. Urinate on the

The Prophet had magic put on him. They put some magic on his comb and they threw the comb in a well. The angels told him it was in a well. The Prophet sent companions to retrieve it and they broke the magic.

Cure for Separation of husband and wife

Remove all kinds of prohibited or amulets things from home Take seven green leaves from Lotus tree (As-Sidr) fresh or dry and ground them and put them in a

vessel/container of water. Mix. Put your mouth very close to the vessel and recite:

Cure for Infertility: Record ruqya on tape and listen to it three times a day:

Read or listen to Surah As-Saafaat every morning Read or listen to Surah Al-Ma3aarij every night before bed Record the following Ruqya on a tape and listen to it 3x’s a day or have someone read it to you 3 times

every day. Then read it on honey and take one tablespoon of before breakfast. Also read it on Black Seed oil and apply it on your chest and spinal cord and forehead. You may have to do this entire procedure for a few months long time, not just once.

How to safeguard yourself: Nothing can harm you without the permission of Allah (swt). Nothing cannot happen without the will of Allah (swt). A leaf cannot fall from a tree without His permission. Rain cannot fall until Allah tells it to fall and how many rain drops should fall. Put your trust in Allah (swt). Abraham and the fire. Khalid Ibn Al Walid understood this. fajr prayer and before you sleep Reciting the du3a2 before you leave your home 3 times (bismillal tawakalto 3ala Allah wala 7awl wala

qowwata illi bi Allah) Reciting this du3a2 morning and evening 3x (2a3owtho bikalimat Allah al tamma min shar ma khalaq) 3ood bukhoor- a scent that you burn. It’s a beautiful scent and Jinn do not like beautiful scents. Before you sleep wipe your bed three times and say bismAllah al rahman al raheem -Bukhari

Cure from the evil eye: recite three mu3awwithat in the area that was afflicted, morning and night

1. How do you differentiate between medical problems and Jinn possessions? Seek doctors first! If doctors come in the end and done tests and couldn’t find any explanation, idiopathic, then it might be Jinn possession.
