Beijo began as a dream of mine in 2002. I was looking for a way to combine my lifelong passion for handbag design, with a vision of a better life for myself and my son Kyle.

There was a time when I wondered how other women could handle it all: being a good mother, balancing work and family friendships, while still finding time for themselves and their own mental and physical well-being. Then, I began hearing from other women that they also faced these challenges. We were all so similar. We all felt pulled in so many directions. That’s when I knew I could make a change That’s when I knew I could make a change for the better, and not simply for me… but for many women. for the better, and not simply for me… but for many women. That change would That change would ultimately become Beijo.ultimately become Beijo.

Over the next several minutes, I’d like to share Beijo with you. Please join me for a brief walk down memory lane. Sit back, relax and enjoy the journey.

I named the brand Beijo (Pronounced : BayjūPronounced : Bayjū), after the Portuguese word for “kiss”, because Beijo kissed my life with good luck, joy and balance. I believe it can do the same for you.

Balance is very important to all of us in the Beijo Family. Our Beijo Corporate Vision Statement reflects that value:
