The solid core of basic services is supplemented by flexible options that allow residents to custom design their own optimum enriched living experience. LutherCare’s fee-for-service Home Help department will be on site for those independently living in the Village who need housekeeping, laundry or other day-to-day help. If a resident’s needs progress to where independent living, even with all the extra services available is not realistic, the Cove Intermediate Care Home will be available so that residents can get the extra help they need while remaining in the familiar and supportive Village. The Culinary ExperienceCreating a five-star culinary experience for residents and their guests is just one of the important amenities at the Village. The Village offers several culinary options, including the licensed formal dining room where residents will be able to dine and observe the entertaining action at the chef’s table; the licensed pub lounge for quick meals, tapas, snacks and refreshments; and the sunny breakfast room where coffee and snacks will be available all day.

A south facing patio will be available for an atmospheric al fresco dining experience during the summer. In addition to the many dining options at LutherCare Village, the dining room will feature a fully catered private dining room available for entertaining family and friends, and the chef’s table for gourmet gatherings.

The basic dining program will provide the equivalent of 15 main meals per month for residents. Additional meals may be purchased by residents or their guests as needed. As with all services at the Village, the residents will be able to design the packages that best meet their needs.

The World Awaits As in any Village, residents will have easy access to a wide array of community services. Grocery stores, medical offices, pharmacies, financial institutions - even a branch of the public library - will be only steps away. Opportunities for shopping, services, learning and social connections abound. Individual residences feature three designer color schemes, creating beautiful options to suit the furnishings and the personal decor choice of each resident. Each inviting residence will feature spa inspired bathrooms, and a state-of-the-art gourmet kitchen, with full size appliances and a dishwasher, allowing residents the ability to prepare their own meals and entertain in their own home if they choose. Plenty of underground parking will be available for those who drive.

Social & RecreationThe Concierge and Activity Coordinator will facilitate a full schedule of social and recreational activities ranging from cooking classes with the chef, wine tastings, golf excursions, horse racing and casino excursions, wellness presentations, exercise and spin classes, games and crafts, internet proficiency instruction and updates, mentoring opportunities for residents to interact and mentor youth, to experiences in the arts, from gallery excursions to performing artist concerts and entertainment. The on-site movie theater will feature movie nights and film festivals. The Activity Coordinator will work closely with the elected Residents’ Council to ensure the programs offered reflect the desires, needs and interests of the residents. Guest suites are also available on-site for visiting families.

Within the Village, the Cove Intermediate Care Home will be a warm and safe home to those who are unable to continue living independently, but who wish to remain in the familiar and supportive atmosphere of the Village as their needs change.

The Cove will offer 27 designer studio rooms developed with the same attention to detail and decor in the spirit of our independent living residences. Each studio will be bright, spacious, with optimum storage, and a private, spa-like and accessible three piece bath. The spacious studio suites will accommodate couples, so that spouses can continue to live together.

The studios at the Cove will open into an inviting private home-like environment with kitchen, lounge, TV, and games facilities. Cove services will include all meals and delectable snacks, laundry, housekeeping, and caring personal assistance with every aspect of daily living. Residents of the Cove and their families and guests will be able to enjoy any of the vast services and programs being offered at the Village, allowing higher needs residents to remain as active as possible, and experience life with all the friends they have developed at the Village.
