• Does our theology of God have room for the person of God?

• Do we worship rules and Christian guidelines more than we worship Jesus?

• Do we worry more about offending than being true to Christ?

• Is our life with God sustaining? Life-giving?• Or is it boring? Predictable?

• Num 16:31 And it happened, as he had made an end of speaking all these words, the ground under them split apart.

• Num 16:32 And the earth opened her mouth and swallowed them up, and their households, and all the men who were for Korah, and all their goods.

• Isa 20:2 at that time Jehovah spoke by Isaiah the son of Amoz, saying, Go and take the sackcloth off your loins, and take your shoe off your foot. And he did so, walking naked and barefoot.

• Isa 20:3 And Jehovah said, Just as My servant Isaiah has walked naked and barefoot three years, a sign and wonder on Egypt and on Ethiopia;

• Isa 20:4 so shall the king of Assyria lead away Egypt's prisoners, and the Ethiopian exiles, young and old, naked and barefoot, even with uncovered buttocks, to the shame of Egypt.

• 1Ki 11:3 And he had seven hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred concubines. And his wives turned away his heart.

• 1Ki 11:4 For it happened when Solomon was old, his wives turned away his heart after other gods. And his heart was not perfect with Jehovah his God, as was the heart of David his father.

• 1Ki 11:6 and Solomon did evil in the sight of Jehovah, and did not go fully after Jehovah like his father David.

• You may be a preacher with your spiritual pride• You may be a city councilman takin' bribes on the side• You may be workin' in a barbershop, you may know how

to cut hair• You may be somebody's mistress, may be somebody's heir

• But you're gonna have to serve somebody• Yes you're gonna have to serve somebody• Well, it may be the devil or it may be the Lord• But you're gonna have to serve somebody

• Lev 17:13 And any man of the sons of Israel, or of the strangers that are staying among you, who hunts game, beast or fowl, that may be eaten, he shall even pour out its blood and cover it with dust.

• Lev 17:14 For it is the life of all flesh. Its blood is for the life of it. Therefore I said to the sons of Israel, You shall not eat the blood of any flesh. For the life of all flesh is its blood. Whoever eats it shall be cut off.

• Joh 6:53 Then Jesus says to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, Unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man, and drink His blood, you do not have life in yourselves.

• Joh 6:54 Whoever partakes of My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.

• Joh 6:55 For My flesh is food indeed, and My blood is drink indeed.

• Mat 24:24 For false Christs and false prophets will arise and show great signs and wonders; so much so that, if it were possible, they would deceive even the elect.

• Mat 12:1 - 4 • At that time Jesus went through the grain fields on the

sabbath day. And His disciples were hungry, and began to pluck the heads of grain and to eat.

• But when the Pharisees saw, they said to Him, Behold, your disciples do that which it is not lawful to do on the sabbath day.

• But He said to them, Have you not read what David did when he was hungry, and those who were with him,

• how he entered into the house of God and ate the showbread, which was not lawful for him to eat, nor for those who were with him, but only for the priests?

• Mat 12:5 - 8 • Or have you not read in the Law that on the sabbath

days the priests in the temple profane the sabbath and are blameless?

• But I say to you that One greater than the temple is in this place.

• But if you had known what this is, "I desire mercy and not sacrifice," you would not have condemned those who are not guilty.

• For the Son of Man is Lord even of the sabbath.

• Mat 12:9 - 12 • And when He had departed from there, He went into their

synagogue. • And behold, a man having a withered hand. And they asked

Him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbaths? This so that they might accuse Him.

• And He said to them, What man among you will be, who will have one sheep, and if it falls into a pit on the sabbaths, will he not lay hold on it and lift it out?

• How much better is a man then than a sheep? Therefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days.

• but our sufficiency is of God; • 2Co 3:6 who also has made us able ministers

of the new covenant; not of the letter, but of the spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit makes alive.

• Act 11:27 And in these days prophets from Jerusalem came to Antioch.

• Co 14:37 If anyone thinks to be a prophet, or a spiritual one, let him recognize the things I write to you, that they are a commandment of the Lord.

• Co 14:39 So then, brothers, seek to prophesy, and do not forbid to speak in languages.

• oh 3:8 The Spirit breathes where He desires, and you hear His voice, but you do not know from where He comes, and where He goes; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit.

• Rom 11:33 O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments, and His ways past finding out!

• Rom 11:34 For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who became His counselor?

• Isa 55:8 For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor your ways My ways, says Jehovah.

• Isa 55:9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.
