The Wes Jordan Athletic Training Education Complex The University of Maine – Orono, Maine

This project consists of an addition and major renovation to the ground floor of Lengyl Gymnasium on the campus of the University of Maine in Orono, Maine. The new facility is the home to The Wes Jordan Athletic Training Education Complex. This program, named after the University’s best known athletic trainer, will give students the training and education necessary to enter the field of Athletic Training. The facility houses state of the art wet and dry treatment rooms and classroom space for the program. Additionally, displays commemorating the life of Wes Jordan and his dedication to the University will be housed in the complex. Custom display cases designed with actual major league bats and baseballs from Wes’ favorite team were created to house the memorabilia.
