Back to School

I’m a grandmother of 43 grandchil-dren and I still have nightmares ofroller skating to school barefooted orbeing late for class only to find a popquiz delivered in the one class I hadn’tstudied for. I don’t know where the timeflies, but here it is time to reschedule thecalendar to comply with school activitiesagain. And it’s time for back-to-schoolshopping.

The flip-flops will be replaced by new ten-nis shoes and the halter tops and swimsuiteswill have to take place in the back of thedrawer to make room for the new designertops. I thought I was through with theresponsibility of school shopping. But, alas,

the grandchildren need sup-plies, too. So off we go...

And what better way isthere to celebrate the end ofSummer than to plan thatone special last weekendouting with the family. Thisissue pays tribute to those

events that will help us put a stamp ofapproval on summer success.
