• (a) Describe and illustrate the water cycle; and
• (b) identify uses of natural resources.

• Why does water seem to disappear when you leave a glass of water in the hot sun all day?
• Where does rain actually come from?
• What is a cloud made of and how does it form?

• The different stages of the water cycle and the different terms– Evaporation – Condensation – Precipitation – Collection

• Teacher will explain the stages of the water cycle to students and draw pictures and demonstrations on the board.
Hands on Experience
• Students will learn how to form a cloud in a plastic bottle using water and a blown out match that the teacher will light and drop into the bottle.
