WELCOME
President Lynda Guthrie called the meeting to order and
asked Barbara Rosen to lead us in the Pledge of Allegiance.
QUOTE OF THE DAY Prez Lynda…. “Action is the foundational key to all success.
Imperfect action is better than perfect inaction. Success consists of going from failure to failure
without loss of enthusiasm.” Author notes: I don’t think the gold fish made it.

Mark Decker introduced our visiting Rotarian, Linda
Reid.
GUESTS of ROTARIANS

PROGRAM
Barbara Rosen introduced Speaker
Julie “Brain Lady” Andersen. Her
interesting topic was “Want
Success? Use Your Brain!” Julie
gave us insight on how our brains
operate and gave us an exercise to
perform that required our group to
get up and move in the meeting. My
take on this is that we have quite a
few chiefs or “bosses” in our Club.
A very intriguing presentation
explaining our brain quadrant
dominance. I seem to be “short-
circuited” since I came out with the same number in all four quadrants.
CLOSING
Prez Lynda thanked visitors and guests for coming, and rang the bell.
NEXT WEEK
DARK. Enjoy your Memorial Day by celebrating our great country and remembering the
people who died while serving in the armed services for the United States.
