Please take special care to see that you remove your laundry as soon as it is ready. Set an alarm if you have to. I do because I once forgot for a couple of hours. I dont know who I inconvenienced but I apologize and I am careful to not inconvenience someone else again. Washing doggy stuff is also a no-no. It leaves hair in the machine that gets into othersclothes. You dont want to share your dogs hair, do you? Best wishes! The Villager

From the Desk of Richard Kennon

It has been a good month, hasn’t it? We started off early with a wonderful con-

cert by the 4H Soundwave Band on the fourth. Then we had the Mardi Gras and

St. Patrick’s Day celebrations complete with music, refreshments and great food.

Once again, our wonderful staff outdid itself. How about that terrific piano music

at mealtime? Having the piano tuned really paid off. Don’t any of you residents

play the piano? Surely some do. So, do! Anyone can stop and play anytime there

is nothing else going on.

We have also had some luncheon outings that were great but not well attended.

Be sure to look at the bulletin board in the mail room for outing notices. Not eve-

rything makes it into the elevators so you have to check the BB in the mail room.

A word about our community laundry facilities… The word, “community” implies

we share equally. To share equally, in this case, means to get our stuff out as

soon as the wash cycle or dry cycle is done so the next person can use the ma-

chines. Please take special care to see that you remove your laundry as soon as

it is ready. Set an alarm if you have to. I do … because I once forgot for a couple

of hours. I don’t know who I inconvenienced but I apologize and I am careful to

not inconvenience someone else again. Washing doggy stuff is also a no-no. It

leaves hair in the machine that gets into others’ clothes. You don’t want to share

your dog’s hair, do you?

Best wishes!
