THE VIEW FROM HERE CREATIVE ACTIVITY PACK 1

The View From Here is a way for those who have been part of Magic Me’s Arts & Ages Programme to continue working together wherever you are, by imagining, sharing, creating and making.

Our team of artists will be creating a series of activities between now and the end of June. These activities will be shared with pupils and older adults from our Arts & Ages partners and therefore have been made with all ages in mind, from under 8 years to 98 years+.

You are all part of the Magic Me creative team - your mission is to show the world what working together across the generations (even when we are apart) can achieve!

Hello and welcome to The View From Here, a series of creative activities by Magic Me, connecting older and younger people across Tower Hamlets.

Some of you may have taken part in one of our projects before, if you haven’t don’t worry you can still join in and get creative!

Looking out, looking in...Our artists have designed activities around the theme of windows.

You may have seen drawings and messages popping up in windows all over the country in the last few months. Windows have become a way for us to connect with the outside world as we spend more of our time indoors.

What does the world look like at the moment from your view? What does that view look like for someone else?

We aim to create a space to reflect on our experiences now, explore another generation's perspective, and most importantly have fun!

ABouT ME What brings you joy?

What was life like when you were 8 years old?

Think about the following: where you lived, who you lived with, activities you enjoyed, your personality at this age

What concerns you during

this time?

This might be a difficult question to answer, so feel free to use this space in another way

Tell us about some of the people

you feel connected to?

E.g. the neighbour you wave to,the postman/woman, the friendwho calls you

What's your name?

E.g. a hobby, a person, your favouritefood or book

....................................................................

You can complete this activity by writing or drawing your answers. Be as creative as you want!
