CAST

*Denotes member of the International Thespian Society Troupe 1003

Jacob Lenamond (Pharaoh) has been involved in theatre for 10 years. He has been in many shows ranging from Alice in Wonderland to Fiddler on the Roof. Jacob spends his free time bounty hunting and training Carl Broughton in self defense. He also extremely enjoys chocolate milk. He is currently enrolled in the MI-6 as secret agent Chim Chim Gigglepants. Right now he is looking for Jasmine Henry, who has evaded him several times thanks to the WPP. Jacob would like to thank his friends and family for putting up with him.

Rebekah Leppert (Dan) turn to page 394. #Always.

Kelsey Plante (Simeon) is a sophomore at Vanguard and is no stranger to the stage. She has been singing and performing her whole life. She has been in nu-merous plays and musicals in the past couple years. Her most recent role was as a Beauty School Girl in Grease. She loves what she does and is thrilled to be in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

Gabe Prieto (Judah) is a senior and was last seen as Vince Fontaine in the VHS Players production of Grease. He enjoys playing basketball and weightlifting in his free time. Next year he will be attending the University of Florida.

Victoria Sexton (Narrator) is a senior in the IB program at Vanguard. You may recognize her as Sandy in Grease and Toffee in Zombie Prom from the VHS Players productions and Dorothy in the Ocala Civic Theatre’s production of The Wizard of Oz. She is currently preparing for the part of Hodel in the upcoming OCT pro-duction of Fiddler on the Roof. She is attending the University of Florida in the fall and as President of the VHS Players, she wishes her troupe the very best of luck in the years to come!

Christian Sierra (Joseph) is a senior at VHS and fairly new to musicals. He was last seen on stage as Teen Angel in Grease, and has enjoyed his experience so far. Christian has enjoyed playing music all his life and has taught himself to play the drums, piano, and guitar. He has been a member of the Vanguard drum line all 4 years and was appointed 2nd in command in his sophomore year. Recently, Christian has been composing his own music and exploring the technological as-pects of studio recording. When he graduates, Christian plans to pursue an edu-cation in Music Production and Business at Florida State University.

Dakota Storm (Mrs. Potiphar/Wife) is a freshman at VHS. She would like to thank her friends, family, and fellow cast members for their love and support.

Kirsten Wellborn (Ishmaelite/Guard) is a lover of orcas and other animals as well as amusement parks. She wants to swim with manatees, dolphins, and...sharks. Connoisseur of tea but not so much of a cup of coffee. Kirsten is in her junior year. She is quite a lovely deer. Has considered living life as a mime, she can be found reading all the time. She would like to thank her family and friends for putting up with her. #swag.

Caroline Jackson (Wife) is a freshman enrolled in the IB program at Vanguard. She performed with the Marion Ballet Theatre for ten years before retiring this past December. She would like to thank her family, and fellow wives for helping her attack Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and find her inner Betty Boop!

Melissa Kays (Naphtali) has been practicing the fine art of alien warfare through the Men in Black ride at Universal Studios for 16 years. Her high score is 999,999,999,999. This is where she encountered her mortal enemies, the aliens of the band Hot Chelle Rae. Too bad she loves them eternally. She would like to thank her intergalactic friends and family for their unwavering support.

Mr. Rick Lankford (Jacob) has been acting his entire life. In fact, Mr. L. says… “My concern is that someone will find out I am acting and that I really don’t have a clue what’s going on. Then I would be in real trouble.” This is Mr. L’s first play with the VHS Players. He has really enjoyed his time with the Play-ers during rehearsals, and appreciates their efforts to make him feel like one of the cast. However, Mr. L. has a vendetta with Jasmine Henry who he claims is responsible for roping him into this production. “I WILL get even with her. Watch what happens when she tries to graduate. Revenge will be mine.” Mrs. Lankford was overheard saying that if he doesn’t stop singing that stupid line at home every day, she was going to go crazy. Seriously, Mr. L has enjoyed this im-mensely. He wishes to thank the Players.

Victoria Sexton

President of VHS Players

Dear Victoria,

It has been our pleasure to watch you grow up. You have always been a very special child taking advice and guidance from all who cared for you. Your talent never ceases to amaze us and you always put your time and talent to good use. Your caring and unselfish nature has brought both your family and your community great joy, you always put oth-ers needs before your own. We are so proud of all your accomplishments and we are thrilled you are going to UF in the fall. You have been such an awesome role model for your sisters and we have no doubt you will achieve all your life goals.

We love you,

Mammy, Daddy, Alexandra, and Charlene

To the wonderful and dedicated staff at VHS,

A special thank you to all the wonderful teachers who helped Victoria achieve her goals, she has really had a super high school experience and you all have touched her life in a very special way.

With grateful thanks,

The Sexton family

Melissa Gillum (Wife) is delighted to be part of such a wonderful show with an eloquent cast for her first performance in the VHS Players. Melissa enjoys listen-ing and discovering music and crafting in her free time. A former dancer, Melissa is eager to return to ballet in the coming future. Theatre has been a passion for Melissa for several years, and she jumps at every opportunity she has. Melissa is also a professional time-traveler and has contributed to the downfall of com-munism.

Alvin Gordian (Benjamin) is currently a junior in the IB program. This is his first production with the Players. When he’s not performing on stage, you can find him involved with Ecoknights, as President of the Debate Club or practicing his artwork. Alvin would like to thank his family & friends for their support.

Jasmine Summer Henry (Asher) cannot share any personal information in this bio because she is in the WPP, due to threats from Chim Chim Gigglepants and Mr. Lankford’s promises of revenge. However, if she could, she would like to thank her friends and family.

Erin Horn (Ishmaelite/Guard) is a junior in the IB program but thinks she is a senior. She enjoys long walks on the moon and fights off alien invaders on the weekend. She also teaches penguins how to dance so they won’t feel self-conscious, she actually taught all the penguins in Happy Feet and Happy Feet 2 how to dance. She holds the title as “The Most Awesomest Person In the Universe”.

Lauren Ellers (Wife) has been acting since the age of eleven, and has not stopped ever since. She has taken part in several Ocala Civic Theatre Education Department productions since 2008. Her roles include Maxine in The Best Christ-mas Pageant Ever, Narrator 2 in The Seussification of Romeo and Juliet, and Charlotte in Charlotte’s Web. Outside of theatre, she is a fifteen-year-old freshman who en-joys reading, writing, and hanging out with her friends and her kittens, Moe and Aziza. Lauren would like to thank her mother and father for all of the opportuni-ties they have given her, and her older sister Lindsey for always being there. She would also like to thank her fellow “Sister” Wives Caroline Jackson, Dakota Storm, and Melissa Gillum for helping her out with memorizing all of the colors in “Jacob and Sons”, the dances, and sharing their delicious snacks before rehears-al.

Zachariah Estes (Potiphar) loves to sing. Zach was born in Ocala and raised by a loving family. He would like to give a shout out to his family and friends and share his love for TENNESSEE! BIOGRAPHIES

Elizabeth Barrett (Stage Manager) is the real Slim Shady.

Alex Blaznik (Issachar/Baker) is a junior in the IB program at Vanguard High School. This is his third year in VHS Players and is currently Vice President. Alex is also currently President of the DBC. He has been in the Vanguard pro-duction of Grease as Kenickie, and has been in two one acts for competition at Districts. He likes cookies, and other flavors of cookies. He likes to hang with Nelson, his homie. Alex is cool. Bow to him. Because he is really cool. He is Issachar in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. If you say it with an ori-ental accent, it sounds like, “It’s a car!” Try it. He bets you just did. Alex would like to thank his friends and family, and God. And you, for coming to see the show.

Carl Broughton (Zebulon) is a man of legend. From the day he was born, he yearned for adventure. In his spare time he raises baby eagles. Carl has con-quered everything in life. He loves to perform musicals and this is his last year as a VHS Player. #Eagle.

Zackery Merrill Calder (Reuben) does not have a favorite color, for colors are too lame for him. He is currently researching chromotameosin-isoleanidicasology, or the belief that all humans perceive color differently, but he does not care about chromotameosinisoleanidicasology because colors are lame. His lack of interest regarding colors can be described by #YOLO.

Gregory Chandler (Gad/Butler) is a senior in the IB program and was last seen in the Vanguard, Belleview, Forest High Schools production of 12 Angry Jurors as Juror #6. You may also recognize him as T-Bird Roger in last years production of Grease. Gregory enjoys writing, acting and model painting. He would like to thank his parents for their support.

Jensen Dillard (Levi) is the only remaining member of the Roanoke colony in West Virginia. Due to laws written by Grandmaster Croaton, she cannot dis-close any real information to the public about the colony, but she’s sure you’re pretty curious. Jensen would like you to know that what happened was “totally radical and super awesome”. Help! They’re lying! It was awful! Nooooooooo– I don’t want to go ba– We apologize for that interruption. She would also like to thank her family and friends for their unwavering support. Truly.
