Resource Center: Thanks to Nancy Phillips for pung to- gether our new resource area to the leſt of the main door to the office. You can find resources to grow in faith, resources available in the area for counseling and other family re- sources to help your family. Check out this area! Food Pantry: There has been a change at the food Pantry. Steely Mayes has stepped aside as our Food Pantry manager and Darla Lucas has now stepped in. This is in addion to her job as our Director of PRE in English. Give a Lile, Take a lile: We have two new display shelves in the vesbule for food. One is for you to donate a lile nonperishable foods to our food pantry. This shelf is on the right side of the main office door. The other new shelf is under the pastors’ pictures in the vesbule. This is stocked with free bread so you take a lile home with you. Altar Top: Our altar is now completely wrapped in wood. This beauful oak wood altar top makes our altar fit much beer in our renovated church. New Sound System: The contract has been signed by the bishop and the new system will be installed aſter Easter. This new system is designed to eliminate the delay in sound and everyone should hear clearly what is being read at the pulpit and when priests & deacons speak. Remember to connue to support the Building Fund because the funds are coming from there to cover the cost of the new system. Catholics Returning Home: The Thursday aſter Easter, our Catholics Returning Home classes will begin. All the in- formaon you need is in the bullen and Trumpet. This is an excellent opportunity to invite your Catholic family mem- bers or friends this Easter who may have been away from the church for whatever reason to “return home”. Soccer: Aſter 5 years of Soccer at St Raphael, we are taking a break from the program. There are many reasons, too many to list here, but there are plenty of other programs around the area for our youth to get involved with. Thanks to Jonathan Ramirez for his work with this program. PRE Registraon: With this year’s classes finished, regis- traon for the 2018-2019 year will begin in April. Look for dates in the bullen, Trumpet. As always, we are needing Catechists. If you think this is your ministry please contact Darla Lucas for the program in English and Monica Lopez for the program in Spanish. I would like to welcome back Jeanne Marie Pichoff as our cantor at the 10:30AM Mass. Funeral Guide: The first draſt of my funeral guide for St. Raphael is now being edited. I am hoping to have this avail- able in English to everyone by the end of April. This guide is to help our families when they experience a loss in their family. I am hoping to have the Spanish version available this summer. The Wedding Guide is already up on our webpage in English and the Spanish version will be ready this spring. My final guide will be one on Bapsm which will be available later this year or early in 2019. The USCCB is changing the rite slightly and I am waing for the new rite to become available before finishing this document. Changes: Every year at this me, I am asked if there will be changes with our priests. I know nothing at this point but as I have said in the past, the only constant is me, so stay tuned…. The office will be closed Easter Monday, April 2nd. I will have more announcements in the coming weeks. In the meanme, may this Holy Week be a me of prayer and peace and may your Easter Season be a me of joy and signs of new life!! It has been a while since I’ve shared anything with you, so on this Holy Week I offer you these few thoughts...

Resource Center: Thanks to Nancy Phillips for putting to-gether our new resource area to the left of the main door to the office. You can find resources to grow in faith, resources available in the area for counseling and other family re-sources to help your family. Check out this area!

Food Pantry: There has been a change at the food Pantry. Steely Mayes has stepped aside as our Food Pantry manager and Darla Lucas has now stepped in. This is in addition to her job as our Director of PRE in English.
