Satin Dolls Dancers Join us to watch the Satin Dolls tap dance performance at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 24, in the Club Room. ey can provide some inspiration for the TowerLight Talent Show acts that will take place later that aſternoon! Since the early 1980s, the Satin Dolls Senior Tap Dance Group has been a popular fixture in St. Louis Park. Members, who must be 55 years of age or older, come from all over, including St. Louis Park, Plymouth, Minnetonka, Wayzata, Mound, Rogers, Otsego and Minneapolis. e group is quite committed and practices for 90 minutes weekly at the Lenox Community Center. ey have a repertoire of eight dances, and the shows involve six or seven costume changes. Each member has her own costumes. It’s a fantastic 45-minute program! Minneapolis Pops Concerts! e TowerLight bus will be attending three Minneapolis Pops concerts! e mission of the Minneapolis Pops Orchestra is to bring the power and pleasure of live orchestra concerts, performed by professional musicians, to the Twin Cites community, free of charge. is year marks the 70th year the orchestra will be performing at Nicollet Island pavilion for seniors, free of charge!
