The toilet has saved more lives than any other health device. Toilets bring dignity, privacy, safety and health. And yet, it’s still awkward to talk about the importance of safe sanitation. World Toilet Day was created to break the taboo around toilets and draw attention to the global sanitation challenge. This year, we’re joining this effort by participating in on November 19th! To create awareness of the global need for improved sanitation, and to raise funds to build Boys & Girls Latrines at a primary school in Ethiopia. 1) Raise donations for the cause by asking friends to sponsor you in THE BIG SQUAT. 2) Sit on a toilet in public for one hour on World Toilet Day.
