Summer Spit Roast and Buffet Available over the summer season where it really comes into its own on a nice summer day. Joints of pork, up to

a full hog are spit roasted over charcoal to create a theatrical centrepiece. For service the joints are removed and

carved alongside a salad buffet.

Frequently Asked Questions Why do you include accommodation within the price? Unlike many venues, we offer exclusivity to our wedding customers which means you get to hire the whole place

for yourselves whilst we get to focus on making your wedding day truly special.

Can my guests pay for their own accommodation? Yes. We are happy to manage this for you. We block the availability to the general public, therefore maintaining

exclusivity and only sell the campsite pitches and glamping units to your guests. The money taken from your

guests is then deducted from final bill (invoiced 2 months before your wedding date). Some couples decide to do

it this way whilst others prefer having more control over which guests stay in what units. There is a 10% booking

surcharge if you would like us to manage individual bookings.

Can we do a wedding accommodation over more than one day? Over the winter our packages are a one day package but you and your guests are welcome to book

accommodation for more than one night. In the summer, a major attraction of our venue is that you hire the

campsite and glampsite for two nights, over three days. The night before your wedding day is a great chance for

you and your guests to relax and catch up around a campfire or in the pub, whilst the day after is an opportunity

to appoint a chef amongst you to cook a campsite breakfast in our glampers kitchen and wash away any

hangovers.

Some of my friends and relatives hate camping and glamping, what other accommodation have you got? The ensuite pods are better equipped than a hotel room but there are also other self catering houses, chalets and

cottages within walking distance in the village. You can also arrange a shuttle bus to ferry guests to a bigger

choice of hotels and accommodation nearby.

How do I pay? Payment is made in three stages. Firstly a £500 non-refundable deposit is paid to secure your date. Secondly, 6

months before your wedding date, half of the remaining balance is due. We also finalise food choices and

decorations. The final invoice is due two months before your wedding and will be for the remaining balance and

any optional extras. You can pay via card, bank transfer, cheque or cash.

The beauty of working with a personal venue like ours is that we are a small team and we

are on hand to answer anything you need answering. So, ping an email, make a phone

call and have a chat when you need to.
