A New Teenie Weenie

“Pardon me,” came a tiny voice, so low I could hardly hear it. Looking down at the craseveral teenie weenie faces peering anxiously at me.

“Could we come in?” asked one of the faces.

“Why, certainly,” I cried, tossing aside my work. “I’m awfully glad to see you.” At oncerolling under the door into my room.

“I believe you’ll have to open the door for the Dutchman,” cried the General. “He’s tooopened the door and let the Dutchman in.

“Get on,” I said, as I spread my hand out on the floor, “and I’ll lift you up to my table

The Teenie Weenies quickly jumped into my hand. “Don’t lift us too fast,” shouted thmy thumb. “It always makes me dizzy to go up in a rush.”

“All right, I won’t,” I laughed, as I slowly lifted them up to my table.

“0, here’s a new Teenie Weenie,” I cried as I noticed a strange face among my little fri

“Yes’,” shouted the General. That’s why we came over this morning. I want you to me

up in your hand so we’d be nearer your ear, and I wouldn’t have to shout so loud.”

“That’s a good idea,” I said, and took the two up in my palm.

“This,” said the General, “is Chuck, the Teenie Weenie Chinaman. And, Chuck, this ispictures.” “Chuck,” I said, “I’m very happy to know you.”

“Allee same, me happy to know you,” said the Chinaman, making a bow.
