THE TALE OF SHAPESby Kadriye Dal

Page 2: The tale of shapes

In a small town, there was a girl who crazily enjoy playing with her toys. She has many toys ;but the point is, she doesn’t call them right and always tries to find new words for them.

Page 3: The tale of shapes

When her mom says «Which one do you want, Melly?»

Melly thinks and «Hmm…the blue one near the yellow one, a little big….and….maybe looks like a cake»

She waits for her mom response, and says«Hey! Did you find it, mom?»

Mostly her mom gets wrong toys.

Melly is bored of this situation and she knows that she has to learn how to define her shaped toys quickly.

One day while Melly thinks on how to solve her «calling» problem, there appears a fairy beyond her toys. The fairy shakes her hand and says «Hello!»

Melly doesn’t believe what she sees and says:

«Is ther a fairy beyond my toys?»

The fairy answers:

Melly tries to understand what is going on in her room. Then, she thinks that this is a great oppotunity to learn how to call her toys and if there is a shape fairy, let’s believe in her!

After these thoughts she says the fair that:

«Ok then, time to meet my toys. Let’s learn what they are.

There are a few things which the fairy wanted from Melly, but Melly cannot do them on her own. Would you like to help her?

Page 9: The tale of shapes

First, fairy thinks that if Melly do a small research about geometric shapes, she will understand the concept deeply. Could you search the Melly’s geometric shapes list?
