Happy New Year!!! We hope you and your loved ones had a very Merry Christmas. We want to take this time to thank the many individuals and donors who contributed money and donations to our organization in 2015. It is through your caring generosity that Water From The Rock has been able to carry out our mission of helping individuals break the cycle of poverty and illiteracy and move toward achieving self-sufficiency.

Our volunteers continue to play a vital role in all areas of Water From The Rock’s programs. It would not be possible for us to do all that we do if it were not for the dedication, compassion, and availability of our vol-unteers. A very special thank you to Volunteer Jennifer Kerl, who organized volunteers to work in the Tar-rant Area Food Bank Quality Control program to benefit WFTR. Through their efforts, over $2,000.00 was credited to our agency for TAFB maintenance fees in 2015, and over $4,600.00 for 2013-2015. Although this program has been discontinued, these credited funds helped WFTR meet the surging demand for food for our clients who are ‘food insecure’.

We look forward to a productive year in 2016. Through your continued support, we will be able to serve

more people in the community with food to help sustain them, GED and ESL classes to help individuals have

a brighter future, and clothing and job readiness resources for individuals returning to the workforce.
