• See how the same sentence changes but retains the core information. This shows how writing for different audiences works.

I suggest an introduction of different types of membership, including paragraphs and tables and a link to a member registration page, which will require the person to log in his/her personal info and payment details.

We should introduce different levels of membership with information, paragraphs and tables about their membership.

This would include payment and personal details and their special membership will link them to a carefully organised member registration page with all sorts of interesting and fun information.

We will require the person to regularly log in using these details.

Word purpose in colour See how emphasis changes

Blue (high proportion of nouns) Describes as an observer. Unemotional, factual, naming thingsEnthusiastic students rush to learn English as a Second Language. They have many options to select from and ways to learn such as listening to audio or attending a classroom.

Pink (high proportion of verbs) Describes as if involved. Active, emotionalYou are ready to take an important exam in order to improve your mastery of the English language. There are a number of exams to choose from so you might have trouble selecting the right one for you!

Yellow (high proportion of adverbs) Describes as if actively engaged. Adds description and actionCongratulations! The student is ready to take an important international exam in order to prove he or she has mastered the English language. The problem is, there a huge number of courses to select from!

contextually appropriate colour i.e blue for facts, pink to persuade, yellow for opinion, green for description

4. If it’s not in the grid, check why 5. Follow the instructions below the results. Start

adding or subtracting word types (colour coded) until the cursor appears in the grid
