THE SEVEN GIFTS OF BUSINESS‘Changing the World, One Mission at a Time.’

Thank you for your recent visit to our website. We appreciate the opportunity to provide you with information and insight to what it means to

become a Spiritreneur. I coined this phrase several years ago as I observed individuals creating businesses around their passion and mission. It is our goal to assist you as you take steps towards learning more about the tools and resources we offer to help you grow your business and live your mission.

THE SEVEN GIFTS OF BUSINESS

I believe the business world is the most exciting ‘mission field’ that exists today. Where else do people spend the bulk of their time and energy? At its best, business offers us seven gifts. As you read through this concise document you may find some of your own reasons for jumping into a new

business or following a deep seeded desire to walk out a personal desire to follow your dreams.

GIFT ONE: DignityThe ability to create jobs that give people a sense of dignity and purpose, as well as a reason to get up in the morning, is one of the most important offerings of business.

GIFT TWO: Acknowledgment

Businesses ideally create an atmosphere where the gifts and talents of the people within them are recognized and rewarded. This recognition encourages people to grow.

GIFT THREE: Prosperity

Business helps create abundance for entire communities, bringing new levels of activity and prosperity to entire groups of people. If you’ve ever driven through a ghost town, you will recognize that where there is no commerce,

entire communities dry up and die.

GIFT FOUR: IntegrityBusinesses can survive only if they create value and deliver goods and services as promised, on time.

GIFT FIVE: Service

Businesses must constantly evaluate how they treat their customers. Successful businesses have a culture of service and respect that can elevate the self-esteem of everyone they encounter.

GIFT SIX: Community

Businesses create a community where people interact, and get to know and care for one another. In many instances, the workplace has become the village.

GIFT SEVEN: Challenge

Businesses constantly challenge people to stretch emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually, learning as they grow.

THE ENTREPRENEURIAL SPIRIT

As Children many of us were eager to open lemonade stands or sell apples from our little red wagons door to door, but somehow that creative,

entrepreneurial spirit gets hammered out of us. We begin to look to a single source of income -- first to Mom and Dad’s wallet and later on to huge corporations. The entrepreneurial spirit is, more than anything else, a way of looking at the world -- of seeing opportunities instead of obstacles, of believing that money can be found in many different places, in many different

ways. Too many of us are trained to be oxen, treading the rows that are laid out before us, adjusting uneasily but inevitably to the harness which is given to us to plow someone else’s field, earning a bit of grain and hay at the end of the day.

Spiritreneurs don’t mind plowing, but it will be new fields that we plow.

Spiritreneurs find ways to integrate our spiritual lives with our work lives in exciting enterprises, and in doing so become some of the most fulfilled and happiest workers on the planet.

BECOME A SPIRITRENEURDO WHAT YOU LOVE.

The Path Community is rich with stories of people that have left corporate

America and followed their path to fulfillment. We talk about fulfillment around here because it looks, feels and is measured differently than success. We believe it starts with finding your mission, living your mission and advancing your personal path in the direction that you have been created and designed to walk in.

Be encouraged to day to take the next faithful step. You will be glad you did.
