C Installing the Alarm Antenna

The alarm antenna connects here.

Located at the rear of the DVR is a connection for the alarm antenna. Use a clockwise motion to connect. It is recommended to leave the antenna in a vertical position for best reception.

1. This option allows you to alter the length of time that the alarm will be armed when exiting and or af-ter entering to turn off the alarm. This is linked to the “Entry Path” option.

2. You can change this according to how long you want the siren to be activated.

3. Select this to select a paired device.

4. Click this to change the name of the paired device.

5. You can select if a paired device belongs to the gen-eral group or the perimeter group.

6. Enable this if the paired device will be located near an entrance. This gives you extra time (that you have

selected for exit and entry) to disable the alarm before it is activated.

7. When the paired device has been activated, you can instruct the DVR to emit an audio warning, send an email, activate the siren, send a notification to the SwannView Link app and to display a warning on-screen (see above screenshot).

8. Click this to pair the siren.

9. Click this to pair the motion sensors. Click again to stop pairing.

10. Click this to delete a paired device when selected.

Please note, when the PIR motion sensor has been activated, it will take 30 seconds to activate again.

Group - There are two options available for grouping your sensors. For the PIR motion sensor it is recom-mended that you change this to “General”. This means any movement within the vicinity of the sensor will then alert the siren to be activated when you select “Arm” in the “Alarm Schedule” menu.

Repeat these steps if you have more than one PIR mo-tion sensor. Click “Apply” when finished.

F Pairing the Window/Door Sensor

1. The dry cell batteries are pre-installed so there is no need to open the battery cover.

2. Make sure the magnet sensor and window/door sensor are held together otherwise it will be activated when it is turned on.

3. Flick the switch to “RF” or “RF+ALARM”.

4. Click “Begin Pair”.

5. Activate the window/door sensor by moving the magnet sensor away. The DVR will detect the sensor and add it to the alarm list.

6. Click “End Pair” to finish.

Group - Leave this as “Perimeter”.

Repeat these steps if you have more than one window/door sensor. Click “Apply” when finished.

G Pairing the Siren & Remote Control
