The Chiodini / Fontana Lecture Series on Ethics is named in memory of Emilio Chiodini and

Mildred Fontana, parents of Siena Heights’ friend Catherine Reuther.

The program is the first endowed lectureship at Siena Heights University. The lectureship was established to give students and others the opportunity to reflect on matters of moral significance that touch many dimensions of today’s society. The series is intended to explore theoretical issues in ethics, current issues of moral importance, and the nature and meaning of Catholic identity.

The Chiodini / Fontana Lecture Series honors, in its name, the memory of two people who were deeply committed to ethics, honesty and integrity. The endowed program will bring prominent speakers to Siena Heights University’s Adrian campus and also to Siena’s degree-completion centers across the state of Michigan.

Support for the Chiodini / Fontana Lecture Series is provided by Catherine Reuther and Warren Reuther, with additional support from the Edward M. and Henrietta M. Knabusch Trust.

This event is free and open to the public.
