• Vendor partner is ComPsych• Open to all active state employees eligible for
MCHCP medical coverage and members of their household
• Available for 18 months following retirement or through the month after being laid off
• Household members can use the SELF program for six months after an active state employee dies

Counseling Services• Local, Private, In-Person Counseling Services• Help with everyday issues like stress,
relationships, parenting, grief and loss and substance use
• Up to 6 counseling sessions per problem, per year, per person. No limit to the number of problems

sessions with an attorney to ask questions, get legal help and plan next steps
• One 60-minute in-person session with a local attorney
• 25% discount on legal fees after the first in-person session

consultations with ComPsych Financial Services professionals
• Help with money issues including getting out of debt, retirement planning and saving for college

help with identity theft or fraud and to restore damaged credit
• Unlimited phone sessions with fraud resolution specialists, legal and financial experts

issues like child and elder care, moving, relocation, vacation planning and much more
• They create a personalized plan for getting the services needed• Plan done within 2 business days• Includes advice specific to the need request like
three local referrals with maps and directions to each, specific state-licensing standards for facilities and providers and checklists to review when evaluating facilities or providers
