Please  note  that  the  Commencement  of  Compliance  Ac&ons  starts  in  September  2014.    

Schools  are  expected  to  be  taking        appropriate  steps  towards  compliance  by:  

A)   Compiling  mandatory  documentary  evidence  such  as  the  Compliance  Manual,  Safety  signs,  CBC  cer.ficate  of  par.cipa.on  for  the  appropriate  number  of  staff,  specific  school  safety  infrastructures  etc.  

B)   Subscribing  to  the  free  school  safety  newsleRer    (School  Safety  Hub)  and  the  school  safety  portal  for  uploading  and  retrieving  necessary  school  safety  compliance  informa.on  

C)   Observing  safe  recruitment  guidelines  

D)   Conduc.ng  self  assessment  reviews  or  reques.ng  school  safety  audits  and  so  on.
