Ruthman Companies 100th Anniversary
2012 marks The Ruthman Company’s 100th year. Few companies haveenjoyed the success, longevity and growth achieved by Ruthman Companiesover the past hundred years. Now with 14 divisions in the United States andthe World, Ruthman sets its sights on the next 100 years of continued success for the company, customers and partners. Our official celebration will take place August 15, 16, and 17 at our 2012 distibutor’s meeting in Greater Cincinnati.
The Gusher Chopper Pump is the ideal product for the municipal market. This rugged pump is equipped with a cutting system to “chop up” solids present in the liquid to be pumped. This feature prevents clogging of the pump and piping in a system by solids and stringy materials.

Ruthman Company’s newest distributor, Great Southern Pump, had it’s debutat the recent Florida Water Resource Conference in Orlando, bringing theDeming Vertical Turbine Pump line to Florida’s municipal market. Scott Thurrottreports “The City of Sanford Florida just purchased a 10’, 5 stage Deming vertical turbine pump in a sealless design. The sealless design is not normally used or specified by engineers for the municipal market in Florida. This pump will be a good test to demonstrate the benefits of a sealless design. Our hopes are to get this design specified in future jobs and to convert existing pumpswhen they are ready to be pulled for repair”.
