Completing Reports

GAB 190F or GAB190NF & GAB 191 & GAB 192

Date: January 21, 2014

To recap information, here is a brief summary of the changes with links to the new forms:

The GAB-190F is required when there is a Federal office on the ballot. State Statutes requires that these statistics

must be entered into WEDCS within 30 days of the Federal Election. This will be every Partisan Primary in August,

every General Election in November, the Presidential Preference Election in April every four years, and any special

election for a Federal office (http://gab.wi.gov/forms/gab-190-federal).

The GAB-190NF is required whenever there is not a Federal office on the ballot, but there is a state office or statewide

referendum. State Statutes require that these statistics must be entered into WEDCS within 30 days of the State

Election (http://gab.wi.gov/forms/gab-190-non-federal).

The GAB-191 is the Election-Specific Cost Report. This form is only required for the Spring Election in April and the

General Election in November, and includes only those costs that relate to that specific election and excludes any

costs related to a potential primary. The Election-Specific Cost Report must be entered into WEDCS within 60 days

of the election (http://gab.wi.gov/forms/gab-191).

The GAB-192 is the Annual Elections Cost Report. This report includes costs that do not relate to a specific

election. This report will be due every January 31st for the preceding year. The first report will be due in 2015 for the

2014 calendar year (http://gab.wi.gov/forms/gab-192).

The GAB-190 Help Guide provides detailed instructions on how to complete the questions on the GAB-190F and

GAB-190NF (http://gab.wi.gov/manuals/gab190).
