In a world of foundations, This one is different.

Today we’ll focus on two funds:• Annual Fund• World Fund



It starts with YOU!2012-13 District 5030’s 3000 Rotarians

King Co. + South Snohomish Co.

Contributed $554,821 to the Annual Fund of The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International (TRF)



This past July… JULY 1, 2016

The Rotary Foundation transferred half of that $554,821 to our District Designated Fund (DDF) for the 2016-17 Rotary Year.The other half went to the World Fund.

So... $277,410 + residual ≈ $396,672 DDF



District Governor & Finance Committee determines how to apply the DDF:For 2016-17• 50% ($142,650) goes to fund the District

Grant (block grant).• 50% + residual ($283,294) goes to

matching funds for Global Grant projects.

TRF funding accounts for over 68% of clubs’ humanitarian project budgets. Without TRF matching funds, most humanitarian projects would not get off the ground!
