For all Sexy Skins Leather Cuffs, including the Rosa Collection, we use 5-7 ounce top-grade, luxury Aztec and California Latigo leather available in four colors; Brown, Tobacco, Cognac and Black.

The leather is checked for holes and markings before it is cut in to straps, then beveled to round and smooth the edges.

Each strap edge is treated with dye and left to dry. Gum Traganath is applied before the straps are burnished smooth.

The roses are made with the same leather; each petal is hand-cut, skived three times to obtain the right thickness, and then molded and formed to replicate the delicate petals on a rose.

We prepare our cuff straps by cutting them to size, and punching holes for our roses and rivets. We then sort through every petal searching for those which when assembled together, will perfectly create an exquisite leather rose. Each rose is riveted into place with our customers choice of metal rivets; antique brass, nickel, antique copper, and gunmetal.

The last steps to hand crafting the Autumn Rose; we weave in place a matching leather strap, fringe the ends, and attach the hand-formed and molded leaves.

Each Autumn Rose Cuff, and the Button Pom Pom Cuff, will take nearly 4 hours to make. Because of the nature of creating these cuffs, and the detail and workmanship involved, no two roses or cuffs will ever be exactly alike. Truly a work of art. ♥
