PARISH OF NEREPIS AND ST. JOHN The Anglican Church in Grand Bay is planning to build an Indoor Playpark in their church. They are asking the parishes of the Diocese to consider financial support for this project. Our Vestry decided to inform our parishioners of this project in case they would like to make individual donations toward the Park. There is information on the bulletin board in the hallway for those interested or you may phone the Church Office.

BIBLE STUDY
This Tuesday, Nov. 22, we will begin a four week Advent Bible Study Series. Everyone is welcome to attend. Coffee will be available at 9:50 am and our study begins at 10.
YOUTH GROUP This Friday we will be joining the Parish for the Games Night. Bring your favourite game at 6:30 pm to the Lounge. Snacks will be provided.
SPECIAL PRESENTATION After our 10:30 service on Sunday, Dec 4, we will be able to enjoy a performance by a group called, The Puppeteaching Project. They are puppeteers who have been working in the schools “Empowering Awesome Kids to Be Their Best Selves!” This special presentation is for the young and all the young-at-heart. The production is approximately 20 minutes long and will be held at the front of the church. There will be juice and a snack in the Lounge afterwards. Please keep this date in mind and bring a friend to church that day.
EATING OUT TOGETHER We would like to organize a few get-togethers around the table for any interested parishioners. Supper: we will be going to the Mandarin Restaurant on Forest Hills Rd. at 6 pm on Friday, Dec 9. Our friend Tina will be awaiting us with her usual delicious menu. Lunch: we will be going to the Future Chef’s Café at Fredericton High School at 12:30 on Friday, Dec 16. The last time we went up the hill to support the students’ “culinary arts” endeavours we were treated to an exceptional meal so sign up early as space is limited. The cost is around $10 for the Buffet Lunch. Sign-up sheet at the Charlotte St. Entrance for both events. Car Pooling will be arranged for anyone who would like a drive.
WHITE GIFT WHITE GIFT for 2016 is underway and the “tree” is located at the Charlotte Street entrance.
Please take time to check it out and select a tag. A brief reminder on how to participate:
There is a sign-up sheet on the desk. Write your name and telephone number next to
tag you selected.
Purchase the gift (ask for a gift receipt, in case the item needs to be exchanged)
Wrap the gift in tissue paper OR place it in a gift bag (be sure to include the gift
receipt) AND securely attach the White Gift tag to the package.
You can bring the gift to the Church on any Sunday (or drop it off during the week)
but please ensure your gift is at the Church by December 4th, White Gift Sunday
OR, if you prefer, you can support White Gift by making a financial donation designated:
“White Gift Outreach”. Place it in the offering plate or drop it in to the Office during the week.
If you include your envelope number, your donation will be reflected in your year-end- Tax
Receipt. Thank You!
COLIN RANSON Please pray for Colin Ranson, son of Rev. Paul and Kimberley Ranson, as he is in Texas to have a second surgery which occurred on Friday, November 18th.
SAVE THE DATE-THE PARISH GOES UNPLUGGED On Friday evening, November 25, 6:30 – 8:30 pm, our Mission Within Committee will be hosting a Games Night in the Lounge. We would love for everyone to come and join us for a fun evening as we unplug all our “devices” and enjoy an evening of games and snacks, with a little laughter thrown in. Feel free to bring you favourite board or card game or just take your chances with whatever games show up. It would be helpful for the organizers if you could sign up at the Charlotte St. entrance. See you there.
