About Catalina

• Catalina ( www.catalina-flaminzeanu.ro) is exhibiting her works since 2011, together with the photo-club “Floarea de Colt” from Ramnicu Valcea and under the patronage of Romanian Photo Artists Association.

• She is known for her theater photos, made during theatre plays directed by Lia Bugnar, Chris Simion and Vlad Zamfirescu.

About the exhibition:

• June 2013 – the 1st time when The Universal Day of IE (ie= Romanian traditional blouse) was celebrated

• Catalina Flaminzeanu ( www.catalina-flaminzeanu.ro) had Romanian culture reknown women dressing the blouse and photographed them

• The result? “Fotografie cu ie” – an exhibition with 21 portraits, opened at Romanian Village Museum, from June 23rd to July 7th

Mintea zice:- Ma pui pe margine, ca daca vine un car si da peste mine si...Da'Norocu zice:-Eu ma pui la noroc in mijlocul drumului...apoi o venit o caruta cu cai. S-o speriat caii de Noroc si-o dat peste Minte...Vezi? Parca tot mai bun Norocu'. Da' bune sunt amandoua sa le ai: si Mintea si Norocu!...ca pe un Drum toti suntem..."
