STEP 1 Find a venueFirst, find somewhere to hold your quiz, like a local pub, hall or social space at work.

STEP 2 Get the word outDownload our Promote your Fundraising Guide for tips on getting the word out about your quiz event.

STEP 3 Nominate a quizmasterWhether it’s you or just someone you know that looks a bit like Stephen Fry, they’ll be the one with all the answers and need to be comfortable reading out questions to an audience.

STEP 4 Cash for questionsIt’s up to you how you collect money and how much you charge. You could either get people to pay a few pounds each to take part (in advance or on the door), or charge a larger amount per team.

STEP 5 Pick a round, any roundChoose which rounds you’re doing. You could do them all, or just pick and choose the ones that suit you – just remember to print off enough answer sheets for each team.
