. نموت فأننا أخري مرة إلهناet nous avons entendu sa voix du milieu du feu ; aujourd’hui nous avons vu que Dieu peut parler à l’homme et que (celui–ci peut rester) vivant. Et maintenant pourquoi mourrions nous ? car ce grand feu nous dévorera ; si nous continuons à entendre la voix de l’Éternel, notre Dieu, nous mourrons.

£££And we have heard His voice from the midst of the fire. We have seen this day that God speaks with man; yet he still lives. Now therefore, why should we die? For this great fire will consume us; if we hear the voice of the Lord our God anymore, then we shall die.

الحي اإلله الرب صوت يسمع من أي أو جسد فأي . أن اعلمكم وأنا وعاش مثلنا النار وسط من يتكلم

. واسمع أنت فامض لي فقلتم اإلله الرب إلي ترجعوا . اإلله الرب كالم

Quel est l’homme, en effet, qui ait jamais entendu, comme nous, la voix du Dieu vivant parlant du milieu du feu et qui soit resté vivant ? Approche toi, écoute tout ce que dira l’Éternel, notre Dieu, et toi tu nous rediras tout ce que l’Éternel, notre Dieu t’aura dit ; nous écouterons et nous le ferons.

For who is there of all flesh who has heard the voice of the living God speaking from the midst of the fire, as we have, and lived?You go near and hear all that the Lord our God may say, and tell us all that the Lord our God says to you, and we will hear and do it.'

شيء بكل كلمنا فأنت إلهنا الرب لك يقوله ما وكل . هذا كالم فسمع ونعمل فنسمع إلهنا الرب به يتكلم

به تكلموا ما وجميع عني به تكلموا الذي الشعبمستقيم.

L’Éternel entendit vos paroles quand vous me les adressiez ; et l’Éternel me dit : J’ai entendu les paroles que ce peuple t’a adressées : tout ce qu’ils ont dit est bien.

Then the Lord heard the voice of your words when you spoke to me, and the Lord said to me: 'I have heard the voice of the words of this people which they have spoken to you. They are right in all that they have spoken.

مساكنكم إلي أنت ارجعوا لهم وقل أنت وقف فامض . معي هاهنا أنت

Oh ! s’ils avaient toujours ce même cœur pour me craindre et pour observer tous mes commandements, afin qu’ils soient heureux à jamais, eux et leurs fils ! Va, dis leur : Retournez dans vos tentes.Mais toi, reste ici avec moi,

Oh, that they had such a heart in them that they would fear Me and always keep all My commandments, that it might be well with them and with their children forever! Go and say to them, "Return to your tents."But as for you, stand here by Me,

التي وأحكامي وحقوقي، ووصاياي، أوامري، ألعلمك . . لهم ادفعها أنا التي األرض في كذلك فيعملوها إياها تعلمهم

. . ما تفعل أن احفظ إسرائيل كل يا وأنت S وميراثا S نصيبا . إلهك الرب أمرك وكما إلهك الرب أعطاك

et je te dirai tous les commandements, les prescriptions et les ordonnances, que tu leur enseigneras afin qu’ils les mettent en pratique dans le pays que je leur donne en possession. Vous observerez et mettrez en pratique ce que l’Éternel, votre Dieu, vous a commandé ;

and I will speak to you all the commandments, the statutes, and the judgments which you shall teach them, that they may observe them in the land, Which I am giving them to possess.' Therefore you shall be careful to do as the Lord your God has commanded you;

أمرك التي الطريق جميع عن يسرة وال يمنه به تمل ال . فيه أسلك إلهك الرب لك سلم كما بل إلهك الرب بها . .S أياما وتصير الخير في ويوجدك إليك ويحسن ليريحك

. ترثوها التي األرض علي كثيرةvous ne vous en écarterez ni à droite, ni à gauche. Vous suivrez entièrement la voie que l’Éternel, votre Dieu, vous a commandée, afin que vous viviez, que vous soyez heureux et que vous prolongiez vos jours dans le pays dont vous prendrez possession.

you shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left. You shall walk in all the ways which the Lord your God has commanded you, that you may live and that it may be well with you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which you shall possess. "

أمر التي واألحكام والحقوق والوصايا األوامر هي وهذهلتعلموها إياها ألعلمكم لي سلمها التي إلهكم الرب بها

الرب تتقوا لكي لترثوها تدخلونها التي األرض في كذلكإلهكم.

Voici le commandement, les prescriptions et les ordonnances que l’Éternel, votre Dieu, a commandé de vous enseigner, afin que vous les mettiez en pratique dans le pays dans lequel vous allez passer pour en prendre possession, afin que tu craignes l’Éternel,

to keep all His statutes and His commandments which I command you, you and your son and your grandson, all the days of your life,and that your days may be prolonged.

I Cor. 12:28-31, 13:1-12Et Dieu a établi dans l’Église premièrement des apôtres, deuxièmement des prophètes, troisièmement des docteurs ; ensuite il y a (le don) des miracles, puis les dons de guérir, de secourir, de gouverner, de parler diverses sortes de langues. Et quand j’aurais (le don) de prophétie, la science de tous les mystères et toute la connaissance, quand j’aurais même toute la foi jusqu’à transporter des montagnes, si je n’ai pas l’amour, je ne suis rien. Et quand je distribuerais tous mes biens pour la nourriture (des pauvres), quand je livrerais même mon corps pour être brûlé,

And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned,

تتأني المحبة S شيئا اربح فلست محبة لي ليس ولكن . وال تتعاظم وال تتفاخر ال المحبة تحسد ال المحبة وترفق . وال تحتد وال األكثر تبتغي وال لنفسها ما تطلب وال تقبح

بالظلم تفرح وال السوء، تظنsi je n’ai pas l’amour, cela ne me sert de rien. L’amour est patient, l’amour est serviable, il n’est pas envieux ; l’amour ne se vante pas, il ne s’enfle pas d’orgueil, il ne fait rien de malhonnête, il ne cherche pas son intérêt, il ne s’irrite pas, il ne médite pas le mal,6 il ne se réjouit pas de l’injustice,

But have not love, it profits me nothing. Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity,

. فتصمت واأللسنة فستبطل النبوات وأما S أبدا تسقط . ينفذ والعلم

mais il se réjouit de la vérité ; il pardonne tout, il croit tout, il espère tout, il supporte tout. L’amour ne succombe jamais. Que ce soient les prophéties, elles seront abolies ; les langues, elles cesseront ; la connaissance, elle sera abolie.

but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away.

الكمال جاء فإذا التنبؤ، بعض ونتنبأ العلم بعض نعلم ألننا . . أتكلم كنت كطفل طفال كنت وإذا القليل يبطل فحينئذ

lorsque je suis devenu homme, j’ai aboli ce qui était de l’enfant. Aujourd’hui nous voyons au moyen d’un miroir, d’une manière confuse, mais alors, nous verrons face à face ; aujourd’hui je connais partiellement, mais alors, je connaîtrai comme j’ai été connu.

But when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.

et ceux–ci ont connu que tu m’as envoyé. Je leur ai fait connaître ton nom, et je le leur ferai connaître, afin que l’amour dont tu m’as aimé soit en eux, et que moi, je sois en eux.(Gloire à Dieu éternellement.)

And these have known that You sent Me. And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them. (Glory be to God forever.)


The Apostles preached the teaching of the Holy Gospel, not by writing the Book but by the efficacy of being regenerated by the Holy Spirit. The indication of that was that they spoke in the different languages with tongues of fire.

Les Apôtres ont prêché la doctrine de l'Evangile, non par l'écriture du livre, mais par l'efficacité d'être régénéré par l'Esprit Saint. L'indication de cela est qu’ils ont parlé dans les différentes langues avec des langues de feu.

But the Jews who remained in their iniquities, disdained them, saying that they were drunk. The Jews unknowingly uttered the truth with their own mouths, because the grace of the Holy Spirit is the new wine which filled the Apostles and made them speak with all purity in tongues of fire.

Mais les Juifs qui sont restés dans leurs iniquités, les méprisaient, disant qu'ils étaient ivres. Les Juifs sans le savoir, ont témoigné la vérité de leur propre bouche, parce que la grâce de l'Esprit Saint est le vin nouveau qui a rempli les apôtres et les a fait parler en toute pureté de langues de feu.

Through their prayers, purify us also, O Master, from the evil of the old self. And make us worthy of the fellowship of Your Holy Spirit, O Lover of mankind. Through the prayers of our fathers the Apostles, O Lord, forgive us our sins.

Par leurs prières, purifie-nous , ô Maître, du mal de notre ancienne personne. Et rends-nous dignes de la communion de ton Saint-Esprit, ô Ami du genre humain. Par les prières de nos pères les Apôtres, Seigneur, pardonne-nous nos péchés.

We supplicate to you to accept us, we who are bowing down before you, crying out to you and saying we have sinned against you. You are our God since we were in our mothers’ wombs. Our days have passed by in vain and we have been naked of Your help and are unable to give a reply for our deeds, but we trust in your loving-kindness and cry out to you, saying:

Nous vous supplions de nous accepter, nous qui sommes prosternés devant vous, en criant à vous en confessant que nous avons péché contre vous. Vous êtes notre Dieu depuis que nous étions dans le ventre de nos mères. Do not remember the sins of our youth and the time of our ignorance. Cleanse us, O Lord, from our hidden impurities. Look at our humbleness and save us and forgive us our sins. Do not abandon us in our old age. Do not leave us if we deviate but grant us repentance before we return to dust. Look upon us with your grace.

Ne Te souviens pas des péchés de notre jeunesse et le temps de notre ignorance. Purifie-nous, ô Seigneur, de nos impuretés cachés. Considérer notre humilité, sauver-nous et pardonner nos péchés. Ne nous abandonne pas dans notre vieillesse. Ne nous laissez pas si nous nous écartons mais accorde-nous la repentance avant de retourner à la poussière. Regarde-nous par ta grâce.

Measure our sins with your compassion. Place the multitude of our repentance in the depth of your compassion. Lorsque demain ton fils te demandera : Que signifient ces déclarations, ces prescriptions et ces ordonnances que l’Éternel, notre Dieu, vous a commandées ? tu diras à ton fils : Nous étions esclaves du Pharaon en Égypte, et l’Éternel nous a fait sortir de l’Égypte à main forte.
