Admission RequirementsTo be considered for fall admission, applicants must attend a preadmission conference and submit the following by March 1: • Application for admission to the college • High school transcript or official GED score report • Transcripts from all post secondary institutions • Completed Consideration for Admission form. • ACT, SAT or COMPASS scores

In addition, applicants must also meet minimum scores on the ACT or COMPASS, or have successfully completed college level courses in English and mathematics. Minimum scores on the ACT are 19 in English , 20 in Reading, and 19 in mathematics. Minimum scores on the COMPASS are 34 in algebra, 76 in reading and 57 in writing.

PROGRAMGOALS

To maintain a diploma program responsive to the needs of the students pursuing a diploma.

Strive to meet the educational needs of the students as well as to assist in meeting the

needs of all the students as an individual so that access and success can be achieved.

To maintain effective student support to assist the student in reaching their goal.

Prepare students to enter the workforce at an entry level medical assistant.

Prepare and encourage students to continue their education through the college and

career laddering.

Stress the importance of graduates to take the Medical Assisting Registry or Certification

exam.

Establish and continue to build positive relationships with the local healthcare industry

to aid in the education of our students.

Financial AidStudents are eligible to apply for various types of financial aid. Call the college for an appointment with the financial aid administrator.
