THE PROCLAIMER
Members of Grace Lutheran Church,
Grace is experiencing a difficult time at the moment.
Pastor Schultz’s duties as our pastor have been suspended by the NW District of LCMS. Per LCMS construct, NW District President Paul Linneman is allowed to unilaterally make this decision. There is also an appeal process that Pastor Schultz can invoke, and based on our conversations with him, he intends to do so early this week.
Our faith compels us to treat each other with respect and fairness.
I understand that most of us have never experienced such a situation before.
Grace leadership understands that you want more information about this, as we all do. But, this is totally out of our hands. We will not be receiving more information. Our only option at this point is prayer, so please pray for Pastor and Kathy Schultz and our congregation as much as possible.
Here is my prayer:
Dear Lord Heavenly Father,
Please help us through the condition we are currently facing. Be with our congregation; help us to behave appropriately with one another during this difficult time, understanding that we want more information than we are allowed to obtain. Please be with Pastor and Kathy during this period; help the process bring us to a swift and responsible conclusion.
In Jesus’ name we pray,
Amen.

Theme Verse:
For you shall go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and the hills before you shall break forth into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. Isaiah 55:12
Sometimes we need new eyes. A perspective shift
that recalibrates our hearts to the rhythm of
God’s goodness surrounding us.
Celebrating Lavishly!.
Embracing Rest!
Noticing Goodness!
Special thanks go out to Byron Malloy for painting the railing on the portable!! Also to Kathy Schultz for cleaning the portable to get it ready for MOPPETS!
