Becoming a Catholic Christian Perhaps you have been sitting in the community,

worshipping with us but are not a Catholic and have been wondering how to become one.

Perhaps you have a friend or family member who has expressed an interest in the Catholic Church and you would like to help them have some of

their questions answered. Perhaps you were baptized Roman Catholic

but missed receiving the sacraments of Eucharist and / or Confirmation along the way and would

like to do so now.

New York census will determine how many representatives we have in Congress and how much funding we receive for schools, hospitals, and much more. The pay is $20 an hour and 58 cents per mile. There is full and part time work available. You can

apply at 2020census.gov/jobs or call 1-855-562-2020 for more information.

Resources to Support Family Caregivers

With an exploding older population and the number of available home health workers limited, there is a

growing need to support informal family caregivers.

On Sunday, February 9th at 9:45AM in Meeting Room 1, Michael Burgess will discuss what

organizations and resources are available in our local community to assist family caregivers who are trying

to keep loved ones at home living independently. The program will focus upon non-medical services such as meals, transportation, respite support for caregivers, and grassroots activities like the village movement of

“neighbors helping neighbors.”

Re-igniting Our Faith: Roman Catholic Diocese of Albany Capital Campaign

Our parish is concluding the active portion of this diocesan initiated capital campaign. To date, 77

households have given or pledged $172,362 towards our diocesan goal of $405, 794. Thank you to our very

generous benefactors. 70% of the proceeds return to St. Vincent’s and

our goal is to use the money we receive to upgrade the cooling system in the back part of the

church building, address deferred maintenance issues and establish a foundation to provide seed money for new initiatives. It is not too late to give. Pledge / donation information is still available at the

entrances to the church.
