PADDLE MIXING ACTION

From below upwards(clockwise)The material is conveyed from the bottom of the bucket upward and streams back down again on the sides. Can be used for heavy material such as mortar, plaster, adhesives, as well as sand- and gravel-filled material. The paddle works its way easily into the material.

From above downwards(counter clockwise)The material is pressed downward from above, and streams back up on the sides. Any clumps are dissipated without spraying due to the strong shearing forces of the paddle. Ideal for thin-fluid substances such as dyes, dispersions, fibrous material or soft gypsum plasters.

Parallel mixing actionHere a swirling of the material takes place. The paddle’s movement results in the up-and-down movement of components. Ideal for leveling and filling compounds. Low air permeation of the material and generally higher shearing forces prevent clumping.

Selecting the right paddleThe selection of the paddle takes into account the volume to be mixed as well as the viscosity of the material. They determine the size of the paddle. All-around performance: in the AOX-S rotary mixer, a special, 17 gal. mixing tub rotates around a fast-turning central paddle. It’s practical: a rim scraper prevents material deposits on the rim of the tub and guarantees a thorough mixture. Depending on viscosity, the AOX-S comes standard with two exchangeable paddles (M 14 thread)
