NEB++ prepares CMLI walkthrough for delegates “Yes!” was a much-highlighted statement during the Orientation and Acquaintance Socials (ONA) for all dele-gates during the first day of the 36th Annual National Sum-mer Conference and Workcamp yesterday.

Organized by the Junior Council-National Executive Board (JC-NEB) 2014, this year’s ONA featured different superheroes as labels for the groupings, a reference to the five-day event’s theme, “Say Yes!: Surpassing Limits and Un-leashing the Power of the Filipino Youth.

Cheers and inter-group games were also a staple for the said activity.

Meanwhile, the dance craze for #SummerCon36 was a snippet from Jennifer Lopez’s Live it Up, with the cho-reography prepared by JC-NEB Vice President++ Berenice Joanna Dela Cruz and Staffer++ Wynfred Russell Santos.

Yesterday’s ONA also exhibited audio-visual pro-ductions presenting the convention’s basics, such as house rules, names of the different facilitators, and things that the participants need to expect for the next four days.

Being the first major event in any convention spon-sored by the Children’s Museum and Library, Inc. (CMLI), this aims to give its participants a headstart about the up-coming activities for #SummerCon36.

A number of delegations de-cided to enlist their delegates in var-ious competitions for excellence and entertainment, while others served as prospective stakeholders who conduct-ed observations on the activities of the five-day endeavor to back themselves up with information that will assist them in planning for future competition ven-tures.

Registered student delegates have the chance to participate in var-ious dynamics, meetings, and com-mission discussions that will revolve around the theme, “Say Yes!: Surpass-ing Limits and Unleashing the Power of the Filipino Youth.”

Each delegate was also given a slot for one workshop, which options

included theater, journalistic writing, creative writing, modeling, and project feasibility study. Meanwhile, teach-er-advisers were entitled to seminars and activities organized by the TAAPI.

Total participants reached around 150, including all students, teachers, and accompanying parents.
