This past year has been a busy year for the Properties Board, and 2015 is shaping up to be equally challenging. While it is only January, we are already focusing on 2015 summer projects and “wish list” items for each collegiate chapter. Wish list items should be sub-mitted to Mandy Doyle at Headquarters at mdoyle@

alphaomicronpi.org as soon as possible. Wish list items are items that are purchased out of the operating surpluses from each corpora-tion each year. Some examples of items include, but are not limited to, ritual equipment, storage or shelving to facilitate storage, guest speakers, and kitchen items. If you have not submitted your list, make sure to communicate with your house manager and Corporation RA. Keep in mind that you do not have to wait until the end of the year to request needed items.

With Convention around the corner, each chapter should identify one or several individuals to send to Los Angeles. Each corporation bud-get has designated funds to sponsor collegiate member(s) to represent their chapter. Attending an International Convention is an incredibly rewarding experience. This forum allows our collegiate women to witness AOIIs from across the country and Canada coming together to tend to the business of our Fraternity. It is a clear demonstration that AOII is for a lifetime.

Serving on the Properties Board has afforded me the opportunity to meet truly amazing and dynamic women all focused on strengthening AOII. I challenge each of you to find a way to serve our Fraternity.

Working with the new AlphaLink

2. Once you have gained access to the database, please complete the Confidentiality Agreement form. It can be found in the ‘Submissions’ tab of your profile. 3. Once this form is complete, please review the list of chapter officers that we have for your chapter and make any necessary changes.

4. When you are finished, notify Director of Chapter Services Andrea Theobald.

Chapter Presidents must complete this process by Tuesday, January 27 and Chapter Advisers by Friday, January 30. Chapter registers will be due February 1 and require completion of this process. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to your Assistant Director of Chapter Services or Assistant Director of New Chapter Development.

Alumnae Chapter Presidents will receive an email with similar instructions in the coming weeks.

Many of the processes and procedures that were found on AOII Portals or “old” AlphaLink can now be found in one place – the new database! We recognize that this is a big shift, and we want to provide all of the education that you need to make you feel comfortable with this change. You can listen back to the recording of any of the eight webinars we hosted about AlphaLink, view an FAQ page, or download our users guides by access-ing the ‘Database Information’ tab on Fulfilling the Promise.

We have moved into the next stages of learning to use and navigate the new AlphaLink, and it requires action from Chapter Presidents and Chapter Advisers! The steps required of these officers are outlined below.

1. Complete the registration process to gain access to the new database. You will receive an email from Alpha Omicron Pi but the email address is groopt.com. This email will include a link to register. If you have not yet received this email, please check your spam filters. If you still cannot find the email, please contact Director of Chapter Services Andrea Theobald as soon as possible.
