THE PICTURE OF DORIAN GRAY Description Basil Hallward has painted a picture of a young man he admires - Dorian Gray. Dorian wishes he would never age like the picture and hides it in the attic. But his wish has tragic consequences for many people. Summary Dorian Gray was a handsome rich person with beautiful eyes. Basil was a very good painter and he painted a portrait of Dorian Gray. Harry was Basil and Dorian’s friend. When Basil finished the portrait it was so beautiful that Dorian made a wish that his appearance would stay the same and the picture would grow older day by day. As time passed, Dorian became an evil man and killed Basil because he was the man who painted the portrait. After that Dorian changed very much. In the end, Dorian decided to destroy the picture. His staff heard a man crying in the attic and when they went into the room they saw a beautiful portrait and an old man with wrinkles lying on the floor. The favorite part is where Dorian destroyed the portrait and the least favorite part was where Dorian killed Basil. I found the character of Dorian Gray believable and likeable because he had two personalities and this made him really interesting. The plot was fabulous because there was a murder and action. The author’s style is great, clear and it has got a fantastic aura. I think the author did a good job and I wouldn’t do anything differently. Resumen

Dorian Gray era rico y guapo con ojos hermosos. Basil fue un muy buen pintor y pintó un retrato de Dorian Gray. Harry era Basil y amigo de Dorian. Cuando Basilio terminó el retrato era tan hermoso que Dorian deseó que su apariencia se mantendría el mismo y la imagen se haría día a día más viejo. A medida que pasaba el tiempo, Dorian se convirtió en un hombre malvado y mató a Basil, porque él era el hombre que pintó el retrato. Después de que Dorian cambió mucho. Al final, Dorian decidió destruir la imagen. Su personal oyó a un hombre llorando en el ático y cuando entraron en la habitación vieron un retrato hermoso y un anciano con arrugas tendidos en el suelo.

La parte favorita es cuando Dorian destruyó el retrato y la parte menos favorita era donde Dorian mató a Basil.

Me pareció que el personaje de Dorian Gray creíble y simpático porque tenía dos personalidades y esto le hizo muy interesante. La trama fue fabuloso porque había un asesinato y la acción. El estilo del autor es grande, claro y tiene un aura fantástica. Creo que el autor hizo un buen trabajo y yo no haría nada diferente.
