The Partnership Project Towards

Sustainable Tuna Fisheries (PPTST)

The project

operates

in two project

sites in the

Philippines,

namely Lagonoy

Gulf and

Mindoro

Occidental





Lagonoy Gulf

2877 tuna handline fishers,

1738 vessels,

in 15 municipalities

with altogether 112 fishing villages, and

79 tuna traders



Lagonoy Gulf

Mindoro

2834 tuna hand-line fishers,

1383 fishing vessels,

in 6 municipalities

with altogether 28 fishing villages and

35 tuna traders (casas)
